PROSTEP moves into new office in Böblingen

By Rainer Zeifang

PROSTEP AG is consolidating the activities carried out by its various offices in the Stuttgart area in a new office in Böblingen. The main reasons for choosing the new, state-of-the-art business premises were its attractive location, good transport links, short distances to the carmaker Mercedes-Benz and its proximity to PROSTEP's subsidiary BHC, which is located in the same building.

Proximity to its customers has always been important to PROSTEP and, because of our numerous joint software development projects, we have maintained a special relationship with Mercedes-Benz for years. The move to the new business premises makes it clear that nothing has changed – even in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. At the same time, the proximity to our subsidiary BHC makes it easier for us to collaborate on joint customer projects involving E/E and software development and PLM/ALM integration.

The new office lives up to our employees' expectations in terms of an attractive, state-of-the-art workplace. What makes it particularly attractive is its central location near the Böblingen train station in the up-and-coming residential and mixed-use area Flugfeld, located between Böblingen and the Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen.

The attractive premises at Konrad-Zuse-Strasse 5 make it possible to implement more flexible working models that combine working from home and working in an office. Our employees have access to uniformly equipped, high-performance, ergonomic computer workstations, regardless of where they are working. The flex office concept provides space for additional employees, and we intend to recruit further staff during the course of the year. The office space, which measures 324 square meters, includes rooms for meetings and training courses, as well as space in which to relax.
