PROSTEP AG showcases several AI Chatbots at the prostep ivip Symposium

PROSTEP was represented at the symposium with an attractive stand, where the Mars Rover was of course an eye-catching highlight. Visitors were able to find out everything there was to know about our versatile testbed for digital product development by asking Howard questions. Howard is our AI-based chatbot that has access to all internal sources of information about the Mars Rover and answers questions in real time.

Sandy is the name of the AI-based chatbot demonstrator that can be used to check the quality of requirements based on predefined criteria. The requirements are entered manually, but in the future they can also be imported using standard formats such as ReqIF. Following the quality check, Sandy automatically converts them into SysML V2 models that can be processed with editors commonly used for model-based systems engineering.

Another demonstrator that we presented in Berlin enables the automatic classification of issues and errors. It has the advantage that companies can respond faster to incidents and take appropriate corrective measures. The demonstrator was developed in collaboration with a leading German carmaker.

We also showcased an AI-based chatbot, which we developed as part of the Decice4ECO project, in Berlin. It makes it possible to search the digital product passport for carbon footprints and other sustainability-related information without any need for complex query logic. This information is described in the Asset Administration Shell in a standardized format that can be exchanged easily.

The presentation of Rel{AI}able, an AI-based solution for automating the testing of graphical user interfaces, which PROSTEP presented together with the Munich-based company wecon, also met with great interest. Rel{AI}able enables test developers to specify test sequences in natural language, from which AI generates test scripts that can be used to execute the tests automatically. PROSTEP and wecon are aiming to jointly market and further develop the solution, which promises huge savings potential for numerous customers.

Our booth was again very well attended this year, not least thanks to the guided tours on the AI topic, which gave us the opportunity to present our wide range of AI services to those attending the symposium. PROSTEP not only develops a variety of different AI applications but also provides companies with support in the context of developing and implementing their AI strategy. This also includes hands-on training for employees.
