News about PROSTEP Products in a Nutshell

  • OpenPDM is Data Space Enabled. The development of the Data Spaces functionality has been significantly advanced and tested as part of our activities in the various working groups and research projects. This means that we offer all our customers the option to connect their internal system world to Data Spaces such as Catena-X, Manufacturing-X, Aerospace-X, Health-X and others via our PROSTEP connectors.
  • In July we will release OpenPDM 10.1, which is an LTS release (Long-Term Support). We recommend all customers and projects to upgrade to this release to receive long-term support. Here you can find an overview of the support periods:

    LTS: Long-term Support

  • Support for Single Sign On (SSO) options within the PROSTEP Digital Thread Platform has been further expanded. This means that all PROSTEP product brands now use the same technology to support SSO.
  • The planned patch version 9.6.2 will be released on June 17, 2025 and contains numerous new functions and bug fixes.
  • Particularly worth mentioning is the support of the so-called Pkce flow in the context of OIDC authentication, which further increases security.
  • The PDM integrations of OpenDXM GlobalX now also support the versions 3DExperience 2025x and Windchill 13.1.
