The first release of the OpenPDM EDC Connector is available. It is based on the Eclipse Dataspace Components (EDC) and enables your system landscape to be directly connected to data space projects such as Catena-X and Decide4ECO for the automotive and manufacturing industries.
With the OpenPDM Azure DevOps Connector, PROSTEP makes it possible to connect another ALM system to the digital thread. In the first release, the connector provides functions for reading and writing work items.
Both OpenPDM 9.7 LTS and OpenPDM 10.0 support Windchill release 13.0.2 LTS (Long Term Support) and thus the version that many of our customers want to upgrade to.
SaaS and on-premises versions of OpenPDM support PTC Arena 2024.04, which will be released at the beginning of December. As part of the early adopter program, we tested our connector against the new Arena cloud release and are making it available to our SaaS customers at the same time as Arena is released.

PDM integrations now also allow attributes to be entered interactively during the import process, so that users can add and document mandatory attributes.
The administration of SSL certificates has been added to the batch processing server interface to make it easier to set up communication between multiple systems.
The PDM integrations and CAD extensions processes now support CATIA V5 Release 34.
OpenCLM can now map its release workflows with a workflow engine. This means that workflows can now be individually configured and customized.
