PROSTEP has barely launched the OpenDXM GlobalX 9.0 data exchange platform with a completely revised user interface, and a patch version with further improvements has already arrived. The version, available since March 7, 2019, contains more than 20 new functions and optimizations for users. The new OpenDXM GlobalX web interface, which is also very intuitive for occasional users, is well received by users. This is shown by the feedback PROSTEP receives from the first customers who moved to the new version of the data exchange platform in December 2018. However, the PROSTEP developers have not rested on their laurels, but have implemented the next customer requests in version 9.0.0.2. The new features include, for example, search and filter functions à la Google in the list views, which enable quick and easy filtering according to specific information. On the other hand, OpenDXM GlobalX now allows files to be uploaded directly into project-specific folders or subfolders of a web space. PROSTEP's software engineers developed this function for customers who primarily exchange project- or group-oriented data with customers and suppliers. However, the development backlog is still well filled with further customer requests and new ideas, which is why a next patch version with additional new features is planned for the end of May 2019.
