systemworkx Providing Support for Former acentrix CustomersBy Peter Pfalzgraf PROSTEP has named the Munich, Germany-based systemworkx AG as its new sales and service partner for the leading global data exchange solutions OpenDXM and OpenDXM GlobalX. The systems house, which mainly operates in southern Germany, will also take over support for OpenDXM customers previously supported by acentrix GmbH, which ceased operations on the market this spring. systemworkx AG was founded in 2005. Its subsidiary systemworkx PLM GmbH is a certified Dassault Systèmes partner, selling the latter’s CATIA, DELMIA, ENOVIA, and ICEM Surf products as well as specific solutions for the Industrial Equipment and Transport & Mobility sectors. Moreover, the company develops its own, application-specific expansions and methods to offer users true added value. systemworkx customers include a wide range of companies in the manufacturing industry, from large-scale manufacturers to small service providers. By naming systemworkx its new sales and service partner, PROSTEP has ensured support continuity for OpenDXM customers previously supported by acentrix. systemworkx possesses the necessary technical expertise to act in this capacity, thanks to its employees’ many years of experience in data exchange and integration. Moreover, employing systemworkx is allowing PROSTEP, a Darmstadt, Germany-based consulting and software firm, to ramp up its indirect sales in southern Germany. The goal is to win new customers, primarily from among SMEs, for the Web-based OpenDXM GlobalX data exchange platform, which enables secure, reliable data exchange.
