OpenPDM 8.5 provides support for newer PDM versions

PROSTEP has introduced the new version 8.5 of OpenPDM, which in conjunction with the appropriate OpenPDM connectors now also makes it possible to connect the latest PDM system versions such as 3DEXPERIENCE R2018x, Windchill 11.1 and Teamcenter UA 11.4. OpenPDM 8.5 also supports MongoDB, which can significantly improve performance especially in the context of migration projects.

OpenPDM is PROSTEP's world-class platform for the integration of different PDM systems. It can not only be used for system migrations but also for integrating partners in cross-enterprise collaboration scenarios. The new version 8.5 is fully compatible with the previous version 8.4, which makes it easier to switch to the new version and minimizes the time and effort involved. PROSTEP recommends that its customers update their installations as quickly as possible since the current infrastructure increases operational reliability and improves update capability thanks to its support for Java 8 and Tomcat 9.
